Phuket breakdown

I just came back from the dental... Apparently, the dentist said I'm suffering from a initial stage of gum disease cause I didn't have good oral hygiene... She said brushing twice a day is not enough, got to floss twice a day as well... Man, looks like I have lots of "brushing" up to do... And I have 4 wisdom tooth hiding in the gum and 1 or 2 decayed ones... Got to have them checked ASAP!

Patong, Phuket

Anyway, quick update about my Phuket trip. Traveled with hunky Xing Lun, noisy Min Yi and lovely Lynette. XL & MY arrived a day before us, I don't know what they did, probably something sleazy :D ahaha just kidding.

I love plane rides! Love the burst of sleep before it takes off. Didn't do much the day we touched down cause it was already 1am. Checked in, took a little stroll and went back.

Started second day with international breakfast, not bad! Then we went to get some essential stuffs from Carrefour before roaming the street, looking for deals to Phi Phi Island and a stage/musical called Fantasea. The place is like a entertainment park, with some game booth, restaurants, snack bars, etc. The outside of the auditorium is pretty dope though. Its like a huge ass palace with plenty of elephants status/cravings.

I think we blended in pretty well. Hahaha!

The Beach.

Got to admit, Patong beach was nice. The waves were pretty fun that day! Now I know how people can get dragged away by waves. I swear, some of them were at least 2 meters high! Oh, we went to the beach before Fantsea. Lots of touting going on. The pricing of their water sports aren't that attractive, so we decided to give it a miss. Wait till Sabah :D haha!

Here comes the highlight! We went to check out some nightlife after Fantasea. Shall not say much, go check it out yourself or ask me in person cause its really explicit :D hahaha! So we drank alittle and slept pretty damn late and guess what? WE MISSED OUR PHI PHI ISLAND TOUR! AHAHAHA! Feels like throwing away $160... Yes, $40 per person. Sigh... But its okay, we ended up exploring much of Patong, despite the strange atmosphere at certain part of the journey :D

This was what I did to the left over beers on the last day of our trip. Trust me, pouring chilled beer fresh from the fridge all over your naked ass is not easy as it seems. Especially when it gets into your eyes!

Awesome trip and place! I love Patong! Small town, interesting lives and good food! Totally don't mind going there again.

I watched a very meaningful movie yesterday, "Eat Pray Love", starring Julia Roberts. The reason I find it meaningful is a quote at the end of the show, "To lose balance sometimes for love is part of living a balanced life". How true... How true...

Best Soldier of September!

What a week! Duty on Sunday totally sucked! But I'm glad its over... Another one coming up though, 17th of October... Damn.

Oh, And I won Best Soldier of the Month for September in my unit! Weee! That means I'll be rewarded with excused guard-duty for a month and 1 day off! Not easy okay, I stayed back in camp for 2 hours on Tuesday to prepare for my presentation slides and I had to present to CO and all the OCs! Balls shrink man! Hahaha! Anyway, just glad its over.

Ok brain dead now, got to go sleep, good night.

Believe it or not

Wow! So much happened these days... I've been spending time with a special someone. Its not a secret, just don't think too much :D hahaha! About my friends... We're all busy with our own stuffs... Army, girlfriends... Guess we just don't have enough time for everyone.

Hmmm what else can I say... Maybe post some pictures? Ahahaha!

September is here!

Quick update. I was down with chicken pox last week, should be in the recovery term now, with plenty of tiny "black" dots over my body. And of course, 2 weeks of MC is sibei song ah! Ahahaha!

Been playing this PSP game, YS Seven. Maybe its because I haven't been playing games, I'm kinda addicted to it, haha. Game-play is good though, RPG lovers shouldn't miss this.

Car is not yet back. Wonder when... And this chicken pox made me so damn lazy and weak. Totally disrupted my workout routine... But its okay, cause I'm going to come back stronger, better, faster! Hahaha! Okay! I'm going to interact with my weights now, peace out all :D

Accident

So much happened these few weeks. For example, I got into a car accident. Wasn't entirely my fault but still... It was my error hahaha!
This was what happened: A kid, around 14 - 15 years old, dashed across the road and his leg was hit by a car. He kinda did a somersault onto the pavement. I was pretty stunted and the next moment as I turned my head, I saw my vehicle and the lorry in front shaking. I knew I ran into his ass... And the hood of my car is "chui-ed".

Sigh... Don't know how much its gonna cost for the repair. Probably around thousand 5? Since the hood is beyond repair.

I'm fucking tired now, probably from basketball this morning. Can't even type properly... My tights are hurting like mad, damn sore... Oh no, that made me sound so weak :D

Bitter. Sweet

This is the 2nd time I got myself into this bittersweet situation. Sigh... Guess I'll just live for the moment. Can't believe I clocked an average of 5 hours sleep each day this week! But I know its worth it.

Working out is like drug, especially after you see results. It makes you want to push harder, because you know you can do it. And I actually fell asleep on the inclined bench just now! Hahaha, yeah, today been a long one.

I like Never Say Never by Justin Bieber & Jaden Smith! The part where Smith raps is so cute! Alrighty manz, I'm going to bed and have a real, real sweet dream :D

Kite, Drink, LAN, Movies, Sun

Ok, this weekend was probably one of the many best I ever had. Friday, Saturday and Sunday all well-spent! Wait... Maybe not Saturday, ahahaha!

Today was really awesome though, Cafe del Mar! Perfect weather. But I think its more of a couple thing. Kinda boring just sitting/lying in the pool or on the adjustable chair. Guess its strictly for chilling, not quite suitable for adventure seekers :D

And today is National Day! Listening to all those National Day Songs sure bring back tons of memories. I can totally picture myself sitting in the school's hall many years ago, singing those songs that remind us of who we are. They raised us well, have us listen to all those songs since young. Well done! But I'm truly grateful to be born in Singapore.

Ok, I've just decided to purchase one of the water dispenser from Mini Toons cause I'm so damn lazy to go pour myself a glass of water from the kitchen, save me. Ahahahaha!

Was it real or was it just a dream? To feel your hands in mine and the breathes you took. How surreal... And if I could only pick 1 song at that moment, I'd pick one that lasts forever, just so we would never run out of time.

Oh dear, Hiang Peng enlisted this morning! 1 person less to chill out with... Let's just wish him all the best and may his section mates be awesome people, cause this way, BMT will be much more fun.

I'm kinda bored right now... No where to go, don't know who to go with. There is a "Lun"atic though, jio-ing me to drive to Lower Pierce and jog. Sounds fun, but pretty senseless.

Anyway, I'm gonna interact with some iron soon. Oh, I need to change the header of this blog! But is lazy to look for a new one... I used to like SNSD cause they portrait such innocent and youthful image. However, I soon realise that there is a limit to how innocent 21 years old girls can be, if you know what I mean... Haha! :D

Borsch & LAN Gaming!

I do dream about driving posh cars, living in a huge house and have lots of hard cash, or simply being filthy rich. But the truth is, I don't need them. In fact like most normal people, I only want to lead a happy life, be healthy, get married, etc, etc. - And then it comes down to the entire point of this "conversation"... To be healthy, get married and lead a happy life... We need to be rich! We need lots of money!
Sigh... Sometimes I hope that the world isn't so real.

Ulcers, ulcers, ulcers... Just keep popping out of my mouth. Anyway, had dinner at Borsch Steakhouse @ Serangoon Garden. Pretty awesome place with excellent service, great food, decent serving size and the set meals are totally value for money!
Went to game at HIGH after that. They already had Star-Craft 2 installed! Pretty efficient but I didn't play that. Not a fan of RTS(Real Time Strategy) game. Tried a little of Modern Warfare 2 instead, pretty good.

How you like your offs?

I thinking taking offs 2 days before weekend is cool. For example, when I take off on Thursday, Wednesday would be easy cause I know there isn't work the next day. When Thursday comes, it won't feel sucky although I'll have to work the next day(Friday) cause I know the days after are Saturday and Sunday! Sounds confusing, just try to understand :D

Quick Weekend!

Another week had passed! And if you noticed, the ORD countdown timer on the right had become "0 years"! Hohoho! Looks like its about time I decide on what university and course to pursuit.

Anyway! Ser Chin's advanced birthday celebration on Saturday. As always, pretty fun to catch up with friends, kinda pity though, cause some had to leave early and... Nobody was wasted! In fact, nobody even got close to being high! Sigh... Due to this factor, guess I'll have to rate this celebration as "failed". Ahahahaha! Just kidding lah.
Oh, and after this chalet, I really have to give it to Wii, its an exercise machine! The boxing game actually made my shoulders alittle sore!

Ulcers! All over my lips, 1 on the tongue and throat. Haiss... Why do I always get ulcers? Better sleep early tonight...

& I realise all girls have smooth and soft skin! Why?!
By the way, any reliable dating service to introduce or not? By reliable I meant sure tio one, go on 1 date, BAM! Can attach already this kind. Have? Hehe.

Update da heck of it

Its about time I do a quick update. There are actually lots of things I want to say, but I found myself pretty damn occupied these days. Have been working out at night and will sleep within 30 minutes of reaching home. And I completed Bloody Monday(a manga series) too. Its good, do check it out, about terrorism, computer hacking and saving the world.

And if you can only watch 1 movie in the entire July, let it be Inception. Enough said, just watch it. Hmmm... What else... Overseas trip? Bout that, guess we'll have to leave out the North-Eastern island holiday resorts in October due to what-seemingly early monsoon rain. Well... Can still go for Indonesia island, if what we're looking for is just serene and tranquil. At least for me. Get a relaxing full body massage, a drink or 2 by the beach at night under the starry sky... With my awesome brunch of friends of course :D haha!

Will write again soon... Things I want to blog about comes in and out of my mind at just about the same time... I'm pretty sure its not my memory, maybe the subject is just too lame or insignificant. Haha.

Just caught, The Legend is Born: Ip Man. I must say its a ok-ok film. Decent storyline, but the ending... Is just pretty darn gay.

Maybe they are right, "friends come & go, but 200 pounds will always remain 200 pounds". Hahaha! Tonight, I'm thinking bout all the moments that I've spent with friends who used to be close, thinking of the reason why we've drifted & whether if we really are friends, or is it just my imagination?

Guess friendships don't weight as much & nobody really cares anymore.

Money not enough? Spend wisely then!

Every time I feel like buying something, half of my inner-self tells me not to & save the money for greater use.
Come to think of it, I used to have no problem spending money on cult labels like Bape, Headporter, Visvim, etc, etc... But now? A t-shirt for $100+? Hell no!!! Haha, maybe its because over the years, I've realised how hard it is to earn money.

Yes, I should just buy what is essential and save up to see the world.

Weekend? Don't feel like

Just watched Robinhood, and it owns!!! I love how he had to end it with an arrow, totally "robinhoodish" ahahaha!

Had a real short weekend... Duty on Saturday sucks. Well, at least I had a pretty decent Friday night, chilling out with friends over at the east :D haha!

World Cup 2010 is here. I'll go with Argentina! Lionel Messi shall make magic! Hahaha! World Cup is just so unpredictable, that's the reason why I haven't got feeling to place any bet yet.

I think I need someone of the opposite sex to hang out with, like 1 to 1, anytime, anyplace. But how and where do I start looking? I've got no idea, which is probably the reason why I'm not doing anything, just sitting back and 'enjoy' my single-hood.
I'm starting to think that because I've been alone for so darn long, I can't ask people out anymore, I've lost interest. I only want to keep to myself. Creepy. Hahaha!

The 2 weeks course I've been looking forward to all this time is here! Its tomorrow! Hahaha, let's just hope everything will turn out fine. Waking up at 05:25am! Arghhh!

Well, I think all of us are alcoholics deep inside cause everyone said the red vodka jello tasted the best when I clearly remember it carried the highest vodka content!

Had headache for the whole today, just got better. But hey, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger! So it doesn't matter if you have a serious/minor hangover, as long as you don't die, cause we have to live to drink another day!

I forgot about something which happened yesterday. Apparently a drug addict from my block tried to commit suicide. The SCDF & SPF were called in. Haha, I know he won't do it cause it'll require way too much courage to jump down from 110 feet. Besides, the SCDF already got their "air-bag" thingy up. Definitely won't die from the jump, probably just bruises and getting charged later on, ahaha!

I used to feel excited when I see this. But that was very, very long ago... Like seriously long.

Full Metal Alchemist ends! I'm a Otaku

Full Metal Alchemist's manga finally came to an end today. Its the best ending you can expect, simply beautiful. I'm pretty damn touched too! No more FMA, but I'll probably never forget this manga series, just like Dragon Ball.

And this week's Naruto is awesome too! Shall not be a spoiler, but its good, pretty heartwarming :D haha! By the way, Bleach is getting crappier each week, ahahaha!

First time since enlist

When I opened my eyes, the sky seemed alittle too bright for 5:50a.m. I grabbed the cellphone next to me and the time showed, "6:46". I had a shock of my life, I'm 1 hour late! Jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth, showered, changed and off I went!

The time was 7:02a.m when I step out of house and was contemplating whether I should take a cab or drive... Train was out of the question cause it'll take 45 minutes to reach Boon Lay. Would probably miss the shuttle bus. So I took a cab, which I regretted doing so as it costed $23! Should totally have drove... Cheaper and fast. FML.

Sigh... At least I reached camp earlier than usual...

All these holidays and offs are making me lazy! I'd better stay by the number 1 motto of life, "Work hard, play hard!"

And I'm pretty amused by the female counterpart of a relationship when the guy just enlisted or is in the army cause they act like they can't live without "him" for a day.
But I feel jealous at the same time cause those guys, at least, have someone out there who can't(or act like they can't) live without them for a day :D

25 - 27 May 2010 Berjaya Tioman Day 2

I just came back from Zoo! Nothing much to see, won't really go unless its free or maybe bring my girlfriend if she never been there or my kids or something.

Anyway, let's continue with Tioman Day 2! We started by waking up at 7:30 and headed for the international breakfast that came with the rooms. Not bad I must say, they have pretty much the standard things.

Went to the island hopping snorkeling trip we booked next. Was kinda disappointed when they didn't provide us with flippers, but I only had myself to blame for not checking.
NOTE: Wordy post ahead, no pictures as we didn't have underwear case/housing for camera. But do read on, its worth it!

First destination was Coral Island. Apparently, according to source(s), turtles and baby sharks can be spotted here, but we didn't see any. Instead, we got ourselves in real clutch situation. The waves and currents there were crazy! We kinda swam too far out from the shore and had trouble getting back. Its like you'll remain at the same spot despite swimming like mad for 3 minutes. Talk to Min Yi about it :D ahahaha!

The other snorkeling spots were more pleasant. I had fun swimming among school of fishes while some others enjoyed feeding the fishes with their toes :D hahaha!

Oh! We had lunch break at one of the "restaurant" on Salang Beach. The waiting time for the food was fucking long and the food sucks. Their fish didn't even tasted/looked like fish and we kind of suspect its actually monitor lizard afterward, wahahaha!

Got back ashore at about 3pm, hit the pool for awhile before heading back to wash up, rest alittle before we went for more table tennis + arcade action. Had early dinner at the same place as day 1.

And here comes the highlight of the vacation! HP getting wasted! Wahahaha! He had a Piña Colada for starter, a so-so Graveyard, a strong Flaming Lamborghini and finally finished with half a B52! A round of applauds for HP da man! The funny thing is that we only agreed on a starter drink & graveyard, but ended up with more drinks ahahaha!

kC acting sane, trust me, he was already half the man he really is cause he had the same drinks minus B25! Ahahaha!

We finally got him back to the room. But he somehow got up and ran down into YL's room cause he was complaining why everyone went back so early and that we should all chill and chat ahahaha! We then moved him back to our room and more dramas... One of which is when I asked him to call Min Yi to fuck off & he sat up from his laying position and shouted, "Fuck off Min Yi!" Wahahaha, fucking hilarious!

25 - 27 May 2010 Berjaya Tioman Day 1

Rendezvoused at Golden Mile Complex, 6am. The place has this unique pungent smell, like the mixture of salted fish and Indian spices. Boarded the bus at 30 minutes later, there were less than 20 people on the bus, so we pretty much had a spacious journey. Went on a 4 hours bus ride before arriving at Tanjung Gemok Ferry Terminal at 10:30am.

Had a break stop during the bus ride. Super unhygienic place. And this was where Min Yi smacked out her chocolate milk and announcing proudly how lucky she was to have prepared it for the journey. But she kinda puked the milk out in the second half of the bus ride. AHAHAHA!

Our ferry will only set off at 11:30am, so we just sat there, chilled and observe this "alien", hahaha! The ferry ride took around 2 hours.

Haha, got to drink protein shake even on vacation!

First glimpses of Pulau Tioman!

We checked in upon arrival, unpacked our stuffs in the rooms and headed for lunch at the resort's main restaurant. We were all dead famished from all the traveling. Went back to our rooms to relax after a satisfied meal.

Our nice little "superior" room. Not a bad room over all, with a safe in that cupboard over there and a small freeze, water boiler directly opposite it. Their rooms are connected as well.

The toilet, which is not bad too, warm water available. The AC is good enough to keep us cool all day.

After resting for an hour or more, we decided to check out the snorkeling package they offer. RM$80 per person for 5 hours of snorkeling at 5 different locations; Coral Island, Salang Reef, Monkey Bay, Marine Center and Renggis Island. Snorkeling mask set and life vest included only, no flippers.

We decided to rent snorkeling gears and swim out from our shore, as a "try-out" as some of us are first timers. At Berjaya Tioman Resort, they charge the snorkeling equipments at hourly and daily rates, which can be quite expensive. But the guy was nice enough to offer us 2 hours of snorkeling at RM$25 with full gear(Snorkeling mask set, flippers and life vest). If I didn't remember wrongly, RM$25 can only, at normal rate, give you snorkeling mask set and flippers for 1 hour. By the time we finished, its already close to 7pm, so we headed back to shower, etc before dinner.

Walked out of the resort to this Chinese Sea Food Restaurant, which is pretty cheap. We ordered dishes like steamed fish, prawn, a plate of vegetable, chicken, claypot toufu and it only summed up to around RM$30 per person.

Cheap right?! But we chose fresh juice over these :D

Went back to our rooms with some snacks, gay-ed around then off we went to the amusement center, pretty much mean the arcade.

RIP Dr Goh Keng Swee, our noble forefather

Check these notes out! Especially the first $1 and $10! I swear I've never seen them. And my mum has quite a collection of old coins and notes.

2 more days to Tioman, I don't know what to expect but... Let's hope it'll be fun.

I watched part of the cremation ceremony of Dr Goh Keng Swee on TV just now. And I felt real grateful for all that he had done for us, the children of Singapore. Some say because of him we have to serve 2 years of NS, but I think its because of him that we learnt to protect our country. Let's just hope he can rest in peace.

I'm no fun afterall...

Fuck! No chalets available on 5th, 12th and 19th of June! No Aranda, Coasta Sand, Aloha! No Changi, no nothing! Can't get wasted! Can't chill!

Sigh... Looks like I'll have to settle with BBQ again. The problem with BBQ is that... Well, we'll get all sticky and sweaty! Not very chilling! Hahaha!

F U-nny PEOPLE

Tonight, I shall sacrifice my reading time to talk about people. There is a minority of us who always act like others owe them big time. Taking advantage of people whom they know will go their way, throwing tantrum at least 20 times a week over little things.

And when people ask them to stop being so fucked up(nicely), they simply push the blame to other things like this or that screwed their day up, etc. But please get this straight my dear(s), NOBODY FUCKING OWE YOU(ALL) FOR WHAT YOU(ALL)'VE BEEN THROUGH! IT MAY BE SOMETHING UNFAIR, BUT IS IT FAIR FOR YOU(ALL) TO ACT ALL BIG FUCK AND CAUSE UNHAPPINESS & INCONVENIENCE TO OTHERS!?

And the best part is you(all) said that nobody cares for you(all) cause no-one actually asked why are you(all) acting like this. BUT WHAT THE FUCK MAN!? Like hell we know whats going on if you(all) don't say!? SEE! THIS IS THE PROBLEM, YOU(ALL) EXPECT PEOPLE TO GO YOUR WAY AND NOW EVEN TO READ YOUR THOUGHTS!?

Then if you(all) want some sympathy from your friends or whoever, please act like you(all) deserve it. Like, if you(all) need company cause you(all)'re feeling bad, why get all boiled up just because they can't be there at that point of time and do shit that pushes them further? Please be more sensible to understand that they may have something to attend to at that time.

Lastly, I want to clarify that this entry is not directed at any individual(s) or group(s). Its purely for self-realization & enlightenment purpose. But if you feel otherwise, then I think its time you(all) wake up your fucking ideas. Peace.

Labour Day!

Hot Boys Kelong was disappointing. I was pretty damn shocked when I stepped into the main area. People having lunch with tons of double decker beds behind them. Was expecting at least some segregation between different groups, like rooms or something.
The worst part was that they actually switch off the power supply at around noon till early evening, which is the hottest/warmest part of the days.
Regrading the catch rate, well, plenty of palm sized inedible fishes and larger fishes once in a while. Maybe its not the season or something, nothing amazing.

Bottom line: I'll probably never return there under normal circumstance. & I strongly urge those who aren't that into fishing to think twice :D

Another week has gone, and I'm still alone. Ahaha ok, whatever. Caught Kick Ass last night and its real awesome. Too bad its M18 :D hahaha! I'm totally digging The Karate Kid and Ip Man 2, can't wait for these 2! Iron Man 2... Nah, had enough of super heroes and futuristic techie shits already.

So glad May is approaching, can't wait for July 23rd! I'll be a one year soldier then, muahaha! Hmm... The number 23. Its my rifle number, the date I enlist, subsequently my promotion and ORD date and also the date I passed my TP! Hahaha what a meaningful number...

Damn, I want my Redang trip! I'm going to make it happen. Once I confirm the date, followed by attendance, and we'll be on our way...

I actually have lots of things to blog about, but kinda forgot cause tomorrow is Monday. Ok no link, bye.

Normal to Off-peak ):

Today is the first time I drove to work, and identically the final third. Cause I was told, the moment I stepped into the house, that the car will be converted to an off-peak car next week. My parents are convinced that this is more economical in the long run. I'm pretty disappointed cause that means I'll have to continue with the hectic MRT rides for... I don't know how long, sigh...

I know, I shouldn't be complaining cause at least I've a 7pm to 7am plus weekend car to drive. But what is the point? The car will still be rotting at home from Monday to Thursday (since I can't drive to work, unless I wait in camp till 7pm before heading home, which is totally retarded) cause nobody else drives it, and my dad will be using it at night during weekends. And just so you know, it costs $20 to buy a coupon for driving during the restricted hours.

Maybe I shouldn't be too "spoilt" and know my place. I'm no elite, just peasant or farmer, who has to farm so hard, not up the social ladder, but just to stay alive. Guess its time to be contended with what I have, in this case, an off-peak 7pm to 7am + weekend car.

Oh, & I realised quite a number of my friends are now attached. Looks like I'll be hanging out with myself real soon, hahaha!
& I can't apply off on Tuesday cause there is this last minute seminar I have to attend, FML ): hahahaha!

Lost as ever

The weather these days is so unpredictable. & rain in the evening seems guaranteed.
Kenneth's advance birthday celebration later, followed by my second guard duty for the month tomorrow. Guess I shouldn't be complaining since I already have the benefit of staying out... But then again, that doesn't mean much cause all I do everyday after work is have dinner at home, look at the laptop for another 3 hours before heading to bed.

Sigh... To be honest, I'm quite bored of my current life. But I've got no idea how to go about changing it. Where is that beautiful girl!?!

Took off today because the past 2 days were kinda tiring. I'm a pretty light sleeper so didn't really had enough rest on Saturday's guard duty. Reached home on Sunday morning, went out at noon to get something done and went to Alvin's birthday around evening at his place.

How come there were so many places to go and things to do at night when I couldn't drive and now that I can, they all seemed to have disappeared...?

Oh, and I watched Shutter Island today. That movie is not simple... Ahaha! Clash of Titans huh... Can't wait baby!

April is finally here! Don't know how my guard duties gonna be like but I know I'll have 2 weekend duties cause I've been promoted to Guard-2-IC. Sucks. And did I say I kinda overspent this month? Yeah... I'm pretty low on cash now but still surviving... Maybe another Sushi Tei or Manhattan Fish Market wouldn't hurt :D haha!

Promotion & Passing TP!

Holy shit! I can't believe I passed! Its the last day before my PDL expires too! Haha! The tester was like pin-pointing my mistakes like crazy throughout the test! He said my driving skill is ok, but safety wise quite bad. I thought I'd failed when he was telling me all the mistakes I made in the room but towards the end, he said, considering the heavy rain to how I performed, still okay. And his last words, "don't drink and drive." Ahahaha! Lucky... My tester is a nice man.

Oh, and today is officially the 8th month since I enlisted, means... I've been promoted to a CPL! I know... No big deal, but its still an increase in pay, a step closer to 3SG(means more $$$) and to ORD! Hahaha!

Now, I'll just have to get used to the car and its time to have some fun! & its time to save up for... Maybe A.P.C and some island get away! Gambling cruise sounds good too :D haha!

Great weekend, hanged out with the "automotive people" on Friday. Haha what a name :D
Anyway, played LAN at Mystery Box, ate dao huai at Sembawang road and chilled at Yishun dam.

Wanted to sing on Saturday with the usual bunch, but the place is still under renovation. And the best part is that the restaurant around that area we had planned to patronize closed down. Haha, what luck huh...? We settled our dinner at Khatib in the end. Then we decided to go prawning, but it was too crowded, so we had a couple of drink and went home.

As usual, spent my Sunday lazing at home. Caught Hurtlocker. Was a great movie, but I feel that Avatar, with all the visual effect plus awesome storyline, deserved Oscar more.

And I still don't understand what the fuck is wrong with my hotmail. It just keeps spamming emails to my contact automatically! I've changed my password, did numerous virus scans, but the problem still persist! So whoever, if you're reading this, please do not click on links in the mails sent by me, if in doubt, do confirm with me.

And I need to run/workout badly... So out of shape :/

Happy belated Birthdays to Xing Lun & Zhao Yi!

Celebrated Xing Lun's on Friday night at Sushi Tei. The tiger prawn + Unagi sushi thing totally blown my taste bud off, it was so effing good! & while entering my pin number, I can't believe I had a mental block. I literally stoned there for like 5 seconds after keying 2 of the pins. Luckily I managed to remember haha! After that we took a stroll to The Cathay, grabbing some beers on the way. The rest of the night was spent outside Cathay, drinking & chilling.

The next day was Zhao's belated celebration at Hog's Breath Cafe, Chijmes. Pretty nice place with decent live band and huge projected screen. The steak I had was good as well. Then we headed to a pub at Devonshire Road for a drink before heading home. Thanks Zhao for the treats! :D hahaha!

I had been kinda sick since Monday. Coughs, blocked nose, shortness of breathe... Maybe I should report sick tomorrow :D hahaha!

Driving lesson at 8am tomorrow. And I'm reserve 1, hope I don't activated! Ok, I'm out, so tired that I can't even think...

The Chinese New Year breakdown.

Had reunion dinner at my grand-parents(paternal) place on New Year's Eve. Went to Chinatown with some of my poly friends after that. The place was mad crowded! But guess its ok cause it'd been awhile since we met up so I thought might as well... And I was really surprised to see so many chicks there! Haha!

New Year's Day 1 morning was SOP. Went to grand-parents(paternal) place again to celebrate my grandfather's birthday before heading to the maternal side around late afternoon for dinner & some gambling action. I love blackjack, simple yet exciting! Caught Percy Jackson & The Lighting Thief at Cathay with the regulars at midnight, I enjoyed the movie, not so sure bout others.

Visited some relative on the 2nd day, didn't play much as I was saving all the "love" for the night at YL's place :D hahaha! Was fun seeing old friends & meeting new ones. Won some money this year, hope that means the start of something good. But there is a Chinese saying, "赌场得意, 情场矢意", meaning when one wins in gambling, he'll probably lose in love. Haha, let's hope its not true man! I rather have it the other way round :D

And I slept at 3:30 for the past 3 days, so today shall be the 'recuperation day'! May everyone huat this year! Peace!

My time table

Busy, busy, busy, everyday is a busy day at work. Chinese New Year round the corner, are y'all done with new year shopping? For me, I don't even know what to buy. I've become so materialistic that I rather keep all the money than spend it. Tell me, other that family, friends and girls, what else can be more important than money?

Anyway, I haven't met so many of my friends that I'm beginning to wonder if we are still friends! Hahaha! Ok, thats silly. We are all busy, totally understandable. Take me for example, I spend on average each day:
- Wake up at 6am, wash up, travel, wait for MRT & shutter bus, arrive in camp at 8am, 2 hours.
- Stay in camp from 8am to 5:30pm, 9 & a half hours.
- Journey back home; MRT & shutter bus, 5:30pm to 6:45am. Thats an hour & a half.
- Sleep, from 11pm to 6am, 7 hours.

So if you do the math, you'll get, 24 hours = 24-(7 +1:30+9:30+2) = 24-20 = 4 hours! I'm left with 4 hours each day for dinner, bathe, connect with the world and relax! & you know how tiring it is after a long day traveling & stuffs... Where got mood to go out after reaching home!? Even if there is, also save for girlfriend right!? Haiss... But I got no girlfriend :D ahahaha!

January will be over in a flash, its amazing how fast time can fly. Come to think of it, I'm a real sad guy. You see, we're only teenagers once and I've never experienced a teenage kind of love; an under 20 relationship. Youth, its something that will never return once you've lost it. Sigh... I'm just too weak.

Check out my countdown timer to ORD! Still a long way but it'll come someday :D hahaha! A couple of peeps from my camp ORD-ed today. Although I don't know them very well, since I'm newly posted, but I can sense the nostalgia in the air. Guess its bittersweet; sweet to finally ORD but bitter to leave the place where you spent almost everyday for the past 1 & and half years. All the friends, etc... Its really hard to leave behind. I wonder how will mine turn out... ( :

SNSD's new album on the 28th of January, looking forward to it! Especially the track, "Stick Wit U". Wondering if the PussyCat Dolls' song cause if it is, I'm totally gonna love it.

Ran into my BMT mate today, he said I've lost muscle mass. Well, I don't know about that but one thing is for sure, I've become much fatter, haha! I just can't find time to run... I'll usually reach home at about 7pm, dinner till 7:30pm, and I can't possibly run straight after dinner, so will rest for an hour and a half, so it'd be 9pm. By the time, I'll be so tired to even step out of house. Sigh... I know, I'm just lazy and all these are excesses. If only a chio bu would tell me, "if you cut those fats, I'll take you to a movie and give you a kiss." Ahahaha!

IRIS is awesome!

IRIS is a good Korean drama, but there are way too much mystery left unsolved in the first season. There are news of season 2, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed cause Lee Byung Hun may not be participating due to other commitments. Sigh... The show probably won't be the same without him.
NS have been good, but kinda busy these few days. & I miss BMT so much. I miss the times where we gather at the center of the room, talking cock, gossips, do our own IPPT, etc, etc...

And its CNY in a few weeks time, any idea what that means? Yes! Its shopping time! I'm looking at a pair of Dr. Martens, maybe new glasses and wallet. But I can't bear to part with my money... Simply because I don't have enough.

We'll see... For now, time to lose some fats!

Duty Dilemma

Should I volunteer for duty on Chinese New Year's Eve so that I won't have to do on the 1st and 2nd? To me, the first day of Chinese New Year is definitely more important than eve... Or should I live it to fate and let the lucky(or rather unlucky) draw decided? 6 men will have to do duty over the 3 days, 2 each day. And the probability is around.. 18%.

If its the draw, then its either doing duty on one of the 3 days or no duty at all. Please show me the way my friends...

2010! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all! What a great morning to kick off 2010! First thing first, I would sincerely like to seek forgiveness from whomever I've offended, whether on purpose or not, back in 2009, please forgive me! And of course for all the bad things I did, which I don't think there was any.

At this time of every year, millions of people will set new year resolution(s), and that does not exclude me. So here goes my new year resolutions:
1) Get my driving license before 21.
(I sneezed and somehow tasted Corona, hahaha.)
2) I wanted to grow taller, but thats impossible so I'll just go with be hot! Hahaha!
3) To understand Korean better.
4) Continue staying close with my friends.
5) Appreciate all the things I have and not be blinded by things I don't.

Ok la, thats about it, can't believe I'm having a hard time coming up with resolutions. In the past I'll always have some, "find a girlfriend" kind of crap, so this year, I shall keep it real and excuse such bullshit, hahaha!
Anyway, I just woke up not long ago. Haven't had such good sleep for a long time. Alcohol does make wonders :D
Had a little celebration at Min Yi's place last night. Thank Min Yi for having us over. Yes, this is the first thing I'll appreciate in 2010 :D played some silly games but they turned out pretty fun! Haha, maybe like I said, alcohol make wonders.

Avatar 3D & Holmes, nice films!

Sherlock Holmes is good! Mysteries continue to arise through out the show and thats when we'll see Holmes at work, haha! And the bro-mance between Dr. Watson & Holmes is real fun to watch. Not forgetting all the actions in it, and the introduction for the sequel, this show is worth the time!

But the best movie of the year has got to be Avatar 3D! Take note, its 3D we're talking about! This is the one show of 2009 that is totally not over-rated. Awesome story & characters development, guess the show won't be half as bad even not in 3D but... 3D is the bomb!
From the moment you put on those 3D glasses, you'll be viewing the show from a whole new aspect. Its like a geographical tour to planet Pandora, all the glowing plants, falling ashes, dust, leaves, seeds, they just seem so reachable, the amazing creatures, especially Leonopteryx, that gigantic "bird" that reminds me of Monster Hunter haha. & of course the spectacular ‘floating mountains’! This is the perfect movie to wrap up 2009, simply a visual sensation.

Next week is a 3 & a half day week again! The thought of that brightens my day :D hahaha! Gosh, with all these holidays, wonder if I'll ever get used to normal days, haha.

Christmas 2009

Hohoho, Merry Christmas! Compared to last year, this year's Christmas Eve was a peaceful and simple one. Hmm, I can still remember how we celebrated at Yishun Park last year, it was quite a blast! And probably the last time I got so wasted hahaha!

Last night was spent at Phil's house. A real last minute thing, so its just the few of us getting together, had pizza, played some Xbox, simply chill out. May get some pictures if lucky.

I want to watch Avatar 3D!!! But the cinemas are so fucking packed! Sigh... Guess we'll just have to see what can we do on the last Christmas of the decade :D

Great Dinner!

Today is my "sub-unit"'s 3rd anniversary! Had a sumptuous dinner at Safra Yishun's Pin Si Kitchen. Not a bad evening I would say, thought could have been better if they let us report later tomorrow morning :D haha! And I wished my closer NS friends were there...

Anyway, I'll be home alone for 3 days & 2 nights cause everyone else went to Malaysia for a short vacation. Its peaceful... Maybe its not that bad to be alone for awhile sometime. I'm damn tired now, probably gonna sleep in 5 minutes.

SNSD's 1st solo concert was a blast! Too bad I can't be there to watch it live... Hope they come out with a DVD or something... And I figured that I need a HD screen and Blue-ray player. HD can really provide some superb visual sensation.

I just failed my TP. So disappointed... Mount kerb at crank, arghhh! Didn't manage to practice crank last week due too time constraint and number of cars in the circuit, circuit fully booked this morning, so didn't even get to warm up... Fucked up... SOA: Passing out; Sleeping disorder.

Finally graduated from SOA. We received our Ammo Basic Badge today but still have to wait for an official order before we can put it on. To others, it may just be a stupid and fugly badge, but to me, its more than a sign of qualification. Its about the memories in SOA, the times we spent studying like fools, trying to contain ridiculous load of information into our brains, getting all anxious bout the up coming test(s), looking at monkeys, rotting & talking cock in the training shed.

I can't remember when was the last time I had a good night sleep. My sleep always get disturbed at 2am and 4am. Eyes will just open for like 10 seconds and fall back to sleep. Sounds trivial, but the damage is there. I think because of this, I'm feeling fucking tired everyday from 7pm. Even as I'm sitting here, I can feel the nerve in my head pumping! Is it because I place my cellphone next to me when I sleep and the radioactive wave is acting on me, or is it because of stress like TP, etc...? Hmmm.... I KNOW! MUST BE BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE LOVE FROM GIRLFRIEND! Anyone can intro me girl? I'm desperate :D

Actually I have alot to write about. Things just come randomly but most of the time it'll slip off my mind by the time I reached home cause I'm so drained out... Haha, I hate my blog, filled with words, boring...

We're gonna find out...

Something struck me this morning. Its the time back in Secondary School, when we drag ourselves to school, wearing the same uniform, sitting in the same parade square for 4 years. Short or long, its for individuals to decide. 4 years can be too long a time to study, but too short to have fun. 4 years can be too short to make tons of friends but may forge friendships that last forever.

Back in those days, we had little worries, probably just about scoring good grades or some silly boy-girl issues. The path seems to have been laid for us; from trying not to retain, getting good grades for O levels, enrolling into Polytechnics and finally NS, we've definitely come a long way. But now, we have the future to ponder upon cause its so uncertain. I mean, look, in the past, its just about making it through the test and advancing to a standard level, but now... There are just so many different paths to walk and I don't know which to choose.

Man, I can't stop thinking about the future. And at the same time missing the past.

Early December.

Its weekend once again! Life has been boring. All I did for the whole week was wake up at 6am, go camp, reach home at around 7pm, have dinner, and sleep around this time.
Sigh, nothing seems to bear any significance. I've been searching all these while, searching for something more in life, but I don't know where to start. Maybe this is what we call a simple life.

I ran eRecovery on my laptop and most of the rubbish were wiped out. By rubbish I meant those programs SP installed when I purchased this laptop. Anyway, my laptop is lag-free and is as good as new now! Ahahaha!

Short-term goal: Get the fucking driving license!
Mid-term goal: Learn the language call Korean!
As for long term... I'll see about it :D

I got posted to Pasir Laba. Hope the reporting time won't be so early, I really want to wake up abit later in the next 1 year 7 months of my life. I got 47 out of 60 for my retest's MCQ, all I need is 3 more marks from the essay, guess its safe to say that I passed, haha... Man, I'm going to miss all my friends from SOA especially those from Raven Company, Platoon 4... We've come a long way.

Left 4 Dead 2 is fucking tough... Can't believe we can't complete a campaign in Advance mode... Sight... Well, its the challenge that will makes it more interesting right? :D

I'm so tired now... Been awake for 21 hours and the distance I covered today is close to the whole of Singapore, haha... Alright, I shall sleep now, tomorrow will be a better day!

Its good to have something to admire

I just watched 2012! Its a real good film man, don't get why some people think its horrible. Anyway, here's a review:
Like most movie, if you see it with a non-fictional point, it will never ever make sense, for example the escape from LA, haha. The whole movie was quite a thrill ride for me, was trying to anticipate whats going to happen next the whole time. Not much scientific terms used and quite a few scenes touched me :D haha! Do catch it if you have not, worth the time.

I'm done with all my projects and tests, there is a retest waiting for me. Will officially post out on the 4th of December, going for on job attachment the following week. Wonder where will I be posted to... ...

& I need some new photos in my facebook! It'd been dead since... the end of August! Actually, there isn't much photo posted here as well, ever since I changed to a camera-less phone...

A day with weird shits

The first thing I saw this morning when I arrived was 2 monkeys; a mum and kid, trapped in the cage. Seriously, I don't understand why they want to catch the monkeys which are all over the hill. Anyway, the 2 monkeys disappeared after we got back from "excursion". Think SPCA got them.

The second thing is that a tree had fallen down, crushing part of the fence, haha, pretty funny.

Then there was this lizard hanging from the ceiling air-con. It then fell straight onto the ground, like a 3 meters free fall, twisting its head haha. But its still alive, so some of us put it into a emptied green tea bottle, calling it our pet. Hahaha!

This is probably the last week we'll be in school, posting out for attachment next week. A new phase of NS life will soon begin, wonder what awaits...

Haha, champion already! I played Bejewelled for 2 hours and can't freaking get beyond 200k but the moment I played with another laptop using my neice's account, I got 245k. FML. I think its because my laptop is too laggy. Everytime I get massive explosion it hangs. This is not an excuse :D haha. Oh c'mon, this laptop is like 4 years old! Time to retire.

I realised NS isn't taking too much of a toll on me. I think its mainly, or you can say totally, because I don't have a girlfriend. Everyday is just a repetition of yesterday, nothing to look forward to, nothing to hope for. I know its sad, but what to do? If you're taking pity on me, just transfer a few hundred bucks to my bank account, it'll certainly be of some help, since the world is so materialistic :D

My mum often ask me why didn't I choose to born under a rich dad. Haha, if there was a choice, every kid would be born in a silver spooned family and those wooden spooned families will never be expecting no matter how hard they fuck.

It really hurts to see people not appreciate what they have. So if you feel like complaining about your life today, come talk to me, I will tell you how fortunate you actually are (:

Sweet! Dinner time :D and I fucking failed a test today! Was hoping for a boarder line pass so badly but he just had to read out 46 for me, fuck!!!

And this morning on the way to camp, this little girl, around 7 or 8 years old sat next to me on the bus. She kinda fell asleep & leaned on me. Haha, a primary school girl leaning on a solider? Quite an amusing sight, but sweet at the same time :D

Not so bad Saturday

I finally watched Fame today and its real enjoyable! An interesting movie with awesome songs. Had dinner at ILUMA, The Asian Kitchen. Their roasted chicken is good. I had a plate of ordinary tasting prawn fried rice and avocado ice blend. Went to check out Colosseum, which is located at Level 7. They're having this promotion in October, play 2 hours and get 1 free! And there were girls at the entrance acting as "promoters", walk near and they will approach you, asking if you're interested to play. Okay la, the chicks don't look bad :D

Want to play Gran Turismo on PSP so much but errors keep occurring... But its okay, I'll try harder tomorrow, in fact, I've already started, haha.

The monkeys raided the room we keep our bags yesterday. Stuffs were all over the place; lunch boxes opened, rubbish bins toppled, haha. I'm amazed by their intelligence; they actually managed to open the door, open zips and lunch boxes!

Anyway, I get to relax tonight cause the next test is on Friday. It a fucking 10 chapters test, which means I'd better get started tomorrow, haha. And I took some time to worked out alittle just now, cause I feel fat. Haven't been to the gym for 2 weeks.

I have this method of washing hair. Start by shampoo-ing your hair, for me I use cool mint from Head & Shoulders. Don't wash away the foam, instead, use a comb and go through your hair serve times, combing away the foam. Let it stay for a minute or 2 before washing off, you'll get this ice chill sensation on your head/hair! Hahaha, well, at least for me.

And in case I forget, do remind me to tell y'all some interesting stories my superiors told me when there's a chance.

Went to this Korean restaurant recommended by Sophie at ChinaTown today. Although I'm not a fan of Korean cuisine, I would say that the food is decent; compared to other shitty places. Price range pretty similar to typical restaurants like ThaiExpress, etc. Well, actually it doesn't matter what I'm eating, as long as its with my beloved friends, it'll be enjoyable :D haha!

New week ahead! And gosh... Its October already. With everyone's busy schedules and activities, this is probably the period where our friendship is put to test... ... Ok whatever, I'm suffering from mental block now, which means its time to sleep and wake up at 5:20am. Anyway, what I wanna say is, let's just catch up once in awhile and not take this friendship for granted, we've come a long way... ... ... Fine, the truth is I'm so fucking lonely, empty, pathetic and that I need company! Okay!?

I've never been to me

Everyday when I'm in uniform, I long for the weekends. But when the weekend is here, I often find myself stuck between the decision of heading out or staying home for some quality rest. I feel so lost... Got nowhere to go, nothing to do, no-one to hang out with.

Today is Lantern Festival. I still remembered how we used to burn whatever we could find; lanterns, twigs, candle boxes and tons of candles haha, those were the days! But this year, the feeling just aren't there no more.

When I close my eyes, it feels like there are grains in them. Every fucking day, thats how tired I am. & I figured that I've problem being myself at times. Haha, whatever, time to sleep, another hectic week ahead.
