"I AM HARDWELL" at Fort Canning!

Last night was a blast! Went to "I AM HARDWELL" at Fort Canning with some of my friends. Was my first event at Fort Canning and the atmosphere was insane! DJ Dannic kicked off the event at 7pm, followed by the main-man Hardwell at 9pm. All the jumping, screaming and arms waving... I think I burnt 1,000 calories in those 5 hours man...The amount of sweat was almost equivalent to when I play basketball, haha!

So we were in the crowd raving and it got so warm that I took my top off, and the funny thing is when we squeezed out to get more drinks, my singlet was gone! My newly bought $10 singlet from Cotton On! Hahaha! And there was 1 part where I jumped so much, plus the dehydration from liquor and sweat, I actually got a cramp on my left calf! Hahaha! But it was too uncool to ask for help or sit down, so I simply stopped moving, stretched while standing and waited for it to go away, hahaha! Took about 40 seconds!

In the crowd!
We were so drained towards the end of Hardwell's set! Good energy!
Me with the babes of the night!
Imagine all those hands waving with the same beat & rhythm,
yes, that was how awesome it was.
Went to Zouk after party but was simply too drained and dry to party hahaha! Just hanged a little before heading... Great weather, great music, great company, what more can I ask for! Remember the night, cause that's how it's feel like to be young & free! Peace!

Irony

Few years back I sold my Ray-Ban sunglasses cause I thought I didn't wear them enough as I wore spectacles most of the time and contact lens were kind of uncomfortable for me. Furthermore, astigmatism lens are expensive and I didn't really want to commit. And my aviators were over-sized (62mm) which didn't quite fit my tiny face, haha.

However, few years down the road, I did the most impulsive and "ridiculous" decision because of these sunglasses. Well, I received a pair of Ray-Ban aviators on my birthday this year from someone very important & special to me. & when things didn't work out between us, I was devastated, I wanted a change in myself. & the first thing that came into my mind was real silly. I wanted the freedom to wear those sunglasses she gave me anytime, anywhere - I went for LASIK. Hahahaha! I know this sounds stupid and all, but it was really how it all started.

She used to encourage me to do it & liked me without glasses... I did have the intention, just no action. Haha! Oh well, hopefully I look more attractive now ^_^ ahahaha! All that is left is to wait another 3 weeks and I'll be-able to enjoy basketball, swimming and many other activities without the hassle of wearing spectacles! :D hoo-ray!

Isn't it an irony? Selling those shades because of eye conditions, but ended up spending thousands on LASIK just so that I can wear them again? Hahaha.... I know, I'm such a fool.

25 - 27 May 2010 Berjaya Tioman Day 2

I just came back from Zoo! Nothing much to see, won't really go unless its free or maybe bring my girlfriend if she never been there or my kids or something.

Anyway, let's continue with Tioman Day 2! We started by waking up at 7:30 and headed for the international breakfast that came with the rooms. Not bad I must say, they have pretty much the standard things.

Went to the island hopping snorkeling trip we booked next. Was kinda disappointed when they didn't provide us with flippers, but I only had myself to blame for not checking.
NOTE: Wordy post ahead, no pictures as we didn't have underwear case/housing for camera. But do read on, its worth it!

First destination was Coral Island. Apparently, according to source(s), turtles and baby sharks can be spotted here, but we didn't see any. Instead, we got ourselves in real clutch situation. The waves and currents there were crazy! We kinda swam too far out from the shore and had trouble getting back. Its like you'll remain at the same spot despite swimming like mad for 3 minutes. Talk to Min Yi about it :D ahahaha!

The other snorkeling spots were more pleasant. I had fun swimming among school of fishes while some others enjoyed feeding the fishes with their toes :D hahaha!

Oh! We had lunch break at one of the "restaurant" on Salang Beach. The waiting time for the food was fucking long and the food sucks. Their fish didn't even tasted/looked like fish and we kind of suspect its actually monitor lizard afterward, wahahaha!

Got back ashore at about 3pm, hit the pool for awhile before heading back to wash up, rest alittle before we went for more table tennis + arcade action. Had early dinner at the same place as day 1.

And here comes the highlight of the vacation! HP getting wasted! Wahahaha! He had a Piña Colada for starter, a so-so Graveyard, a strong Flaming Lamborghini and finally finished with half a B52! A round of applauds for HP da man! The funny thing is that we only agreed on a starter drink & graveyard, but ended up with more drinks ahahaha!

kC acting sane, trust me, he was already half the man he really is cause he had the same drinks minus B25! Ahahaha!

Star of the night! Or should I say trip! Ahahaha!

Keep rolling... Rolling...
Rolling, rolling...
Hahaha I love this photo! Epic knocked out pose!

He ran around the area...

Trying to stand still...
And down again.

The best part was when he shouted, "Fuck you Min Yi!" in real high pitch, ahahaha laughed my ass off!

We finally got him back to the room. But he somehow got up and ran down into YL's room cause he was complaining why everyone went back so early and that we should all chill and chat ahahaha! We then moved him back to our room and more dramas... One of which is when I asked him to call Min Yi to fuck off & he sat up from his laying position and shouted, "Fuck off Min Yi!" Wahahaha, fucking hilarious!

Ok the last picture for the night, the rest... Are videos, saved in a dark corner of my 'D' drive :D hahaha!

Part 3 soon!

25 - 27 May 2010 Berjaya Tioman Day 1

Rendezvoused at Golden Mile Complex, 6am. The place has this unique pungent smell, like the mixture of salted fish and Indian spices. Boarded the bus at 30 minutes later, there were less than 20 people on the bus, so we pretty much had a spacious journey. Went on a 4 hours bus ride before arriving at Tanjung Gemok Ferry Terminal at 10:30am.

Had a break stop during the bus ride. Super unhygienic place. And this was where Min Yi smacked out her chocolate milk and announcing proudly how lucky she was to have prepared it for the journey. But she kinda puked the milk out in the second half of the bus ride. AHAHAHA!

Our ferry will only set off at 11:30am, so we just sat there, chilled and observe this "alien", hahaha! The ferry ride took around 2 hours.

Waiting, waiting...

Haha, got to drink protein shake even on vacation!

Ipod Touch is good entertainment anytime of the day!

First glimpses of Pulau Tioman!

We checked in upon arrival, unpacked our stuffs in the rooms and headed for lunch at the resort's main restaurant. We were all dead famished from all the traveling. Went back to our rooms to relax after a satisfied meal.

Our nice little "superior" room. Not a bad room over all, with a safe in that cupboard over there and a small freeze, water boiler directly opposite it. Their rooms are connected as well.

The toilet, which is not bad too, warm water available. The AC is good enough to keep us cool all day.

After resting for an hour or more, we decided to check out the snorkeling package they offer. RM$80 per person for 5 hours of snorkeling at 5 different locations; Coral Island, Salang Reef, Monkey Bay, Marine Center and Renggis Island. Snorkeling mask set and life vest included only, no flippers.

We decided to rent snorkeling gears and swim out from our shore, as a "try-out" as some of us are first timers. At Berjaya Tioman Resort, they charge the snorkeling equipments at hourly and daily rates, which can be quite expensive. But the guy was nice enough to offer us 2 hours of snorkeling at RM$25 with full gear(Snorkeling mask set, flippers and life vest). If I didn't remember wrongly, RM$25 can only, at normal rate, give you snorkeling mask set and flippers for 1 hour. By the time we finished, its already close to 7pm, so we headed back to shower, etc before dinner.

Relax first la!

kC "digging" it!

This pic is so gay I can't resist not uploading it!

Walked out of the resort to this Chinese Sea Food Restaurant, which is pretty cheap. We ordered dishes like steamed fish, prawn, a plate of vegetable, chicken, claypot toufu and it only summed up to around RM$30 per person.

Cheap right?! But we chose fresh juice over these :D

HP and the delicious fish.

This is some cheese prawn thingy, taste... Unique.

Went back to our rooms with some snacks, gay-ed around then off we went to the amusement center, pretty much mean the arcade.

Smoking... Love letters hahaha!

HP loves drinking! You'll know why...

Strangely, we prefer table tennis over arcade games.

Smash coming right up!

Thats pretty much for day 1. Will talk about day 2, where the highlight of the trip is :D

Adventure ride @ Pulau Ubin

Ubin was fun! It was insane and definitely not for the weak. Slopes more than 50 degrees are everywhere in that insane bike trail! Don't be surprised to find yourself steering pass rocks and cycling at the edge of a cliff.

Raindrops keep falling on my head...

"Aiya, take a pee relax first la"

Where it all begins...

This can easily be passed off as a more gentle slop in the trail.

Deadly down slope.

Thats right, fall through these grass and you're fucked.

The trail goes around this quarry.

Check my kicks! Urban ninja :D ahaha!

And we had Hiang Peng crashing. Don't misunderstood, he's one hell of a rider. The reason for this accident is because he has too many balls to spare.

Check those marks of a warrior(or rider in this case) out! I honestly don't mind having some, ahaha!

Then we made our way to the nearest exit to the main road, and I'm glad we found it. Chilled out a little at the hunt.

And we're made our way to dinner!

Christmas 2008 rocks!

Merry Christmas to All.

Christmas Party at Yishun Park was a success, thanks to the bottle of Martel and wines. And of course the lovely chics and brotherly dudes.

It's a big regret to have left early. Guess I had alittle too much & I wasn't very pleased with the scene of you and...

Lastly, I just had to say it again, it was an awesome night spent with fantastic people. & a special thanks to LiYa for being chill and hanged out with the 3 of us. You rerouted my urine back to where ever its suppose to come from when you cycled into the gents. & walking us to main road for cab was nice, maybe you were just bored but I'll still say you rocked.

:D

Oh yah, and thanks everyone for the food and whoever that did the cleaning up.

What happened on 151208

Worked out in the morning, Yio Chu Kang's Club Fit is not bad at all. They have decent equipments; a good number of benches and free weights(dumbbells, etc). The only drawback is probably their age, those dumbbells are rusty!

Went to school for FYP after that. Tested out the new boards and designed our poster for Spinovex.

WDYWT
"Sibei sian leh..."

New design, going at $109, let me know :D ahahaha!

At night, I did some ridiculous shit. I gave up "Little Nyonya" or [小娘惹] and went for a night trip in the woods of Lower Pierce Reservoir. Haha, not exactly the woods though, probably just a forest trail kinda thing. But I'll tell you, its dark in there! Probably as dark as hiding in your storeroom at 12a.m.

Let's go!

Hahaha, I don't know what are these.

Hahaha fierce. I mean trying to be :D ahaha!

Someone just fucking get me a pair night vision goggles for Xmas! Always wanted it :D

The temperature is about 26 degrees now and there isn't much for me to do but to think bout how fast a year passed, just like this. Leaving to Batam yet again. I'll probably miss something while over there. Oh wait, I already am and has always been.
