Not easy at all

Maybe I should stop driving. Its true, driving provide a high level of accessibility, conveniency, and above all, comfortability. If my car is not off-peak car, I would probably give myself excuses to wake up 30 minutes later and drive there, so as to avoid standing 45 minutes all the way to Boon Lay.

But that is not the point of this entry... What I want to say is that petrol is indeed expensive. I've always wanted to buy a $180 watch, and that is the cost of 3 full tanks. Now I know how come I can never get that excessive $180 to buy the watch.

Life is tough...

The post before I start updating regularly

Feels like I've been to many places and did lots of things recently. But strangely, can't seems to recall any to blog about...

Tried looking for some places to go during the last week of December cause LL (Lovely Lynette), :D ahahaha! Ok, ok, let's continue. She finally can have a week of break! However, the pricing is not very encouraging as it is the super peak period... So we figured to save the money for a better holiday next year.

And... We went skating! Was pretty damn fun! And all the good food we've been eating... Drained my pocket and filled my tummy by quite a bit! Sad thing is I don't seem to have the motivation to workout... Oh, there is this card game called Monopoly Deal out there now as well. Played twice with my friends, not bad, but I think its all about luck...

Went to the Police Heritage Tour last Friday. Was my department's cohesion. Quite interesting, learned about the history and structure of our police force. And I got this as a souvenir!
Its a 2-in-1 lazer pointer + LED light key chain! Totally love it! But LL isn't very pleased every time I use it... Its okay, shall use it secretly :D ahahaha! Childish lah!

Sophie's Birthday Celebration just ended last Saturday! The food was nice but meeting up with friends was nicer! Not bad, not bad at all. Went to Bliss @ Punggol Park to chill after that. Drinks are much cheaper compared to Bottle Tree Park. And Kenneth's classic knock out is a must blog! Time to get your key or door fixed Kenneth! :D Hahaha! A very nice place overall, can foresee myself going back there soon.

Lastly, do make some noise if you still read my blog! I know its boring due to the lack of pictures... Bringing a camera wherever I go should solve this problem but I don't like to bring a bag when I'm out and can't use camera phone cause I'm still in SAF... So... Please bear with me if you still read this blog! :D

Till then :D (wall of text)

Zoo Pictures!

Time for duty! Meaning, I'll be leaving home at 6:30am this morning(Monday), and come back at 6:30pm(Tuesday) tomorrow! 36 fucking hours man!

Here are the photos we took from our zoo trip! My 3 personal favorite, especially taken and edited by Lynette Seow.

Yawn! First time I see the Lion in the open area, probably because its feeding time!

Letting my new friend try out those shades.

After seeing them swim, I totally want to be a Penguin. & at the end of the day, we realised I wanted to be alot of animals.

Chilling by the riverside.

They are pretty funny, its like dragging its kid away from other young ones, saying, "don't play with them & get your ass back here!"

Er.... I got no idea what are they doing.

I know what you are looking at in this picture :D

Fly! Butter!

Looking sharp!

Cute little thing.

Look at its tongue, like a worm, used to lure fishes and snap! Done with a meal!

:D

Just became a butterfly!

Always wanted to keep one of these...

We caught their feeding too! The zookeeper basically tossed some fruits to them.

Singapore's Zoo trademark, Ah Meng!

Like twins! Ahahahaha!

Strangely... These 2 look like twins too!

Wah my tummy...

And lastly, let me end this with some white orchids! Don't they look pure and lovely?

Batam & Zoo

So much happened since I last posted. Once again, its my annual Batam View Resort getaway, from the 5th to 7th November. Not much changes, only higher & more charges on their facilities... Even the table tennis are going for $2 per 30 minutes... Total crap! Didn't do much, watched some DVD-s(Piranha 3D & Reign of Assassins) , ate lots of junk food, basically just chill and sleep.

And I guess the highlight so far was going to Zoo with Lynette yesterday. Our plan of stepping into Zoo at 8:30am was disrupted by some... Okay, it doesn't matter anymore, shall not elaborate on that. Anyway, we managed to get there by 10:30, bought our tickets and off we went, with the blazing hot sun upon us. The tall, huge trees managed to keep us in shade most of the time though. To be honest, I had not seen so many animals awake in my umpteen visits previously. Saw lion feeding, nothing much actually, the trainer just threw some meat into the enclosure, that's all.

Had lunch at KFC in Children World, I was pretty shocked by how small it'd become. Rain started to fall heavily after awhile and we just chilled there, looking into each others eyes :D
After about an hour or so, the rain turned to a slight drizzle and we decided to carry on with our journey at Fragile Forest. Had some 'close' encounter with the animals, pretty fun!
Caught the "Splash!" animal show thingy, nothing much, just an solo performance by Stan the seal. But its back flip did amaze me, hahaha! Had Ben & Jerry's at the entrance area before heading home. A thunderstorm came from nowhere when we reached Khatib.

It was an real enjoyable day. I had fun, but... Sigh... Might post some pictures next time... Till then.
