Singapore Biennale 2008

I'm mother fucking tired right now but I'll do a quick update before I hit the hay. Oh, before anything, do check out "The Moment" & "Forever In Love" by Kenny G. They heal the soul.

Walked and searched around City Hall or Raffles Place and finally found it! One of the exhibition hall of the Singapore Biennale 2008(11 September to 16 November 2008).

This is the place! Its assembled with ASL's containers.

The first artwork right outside the "building". The slippers are pointed towards the sea, it has something to do with fishermen, I forgot, haha.

The floor is made from recycled material. I honestly don't mind if the floor of my house looks like this, haha.

Utopia on mountains.

They are real well made; I think with wood. The details are impressive.

The main exhibit, 7 mountains with a crater in the middle.

And upon entering an Eskimo-like structure, another dimension is unveiled!

Snow, frozen lakes, dried trees and the mysteries beyond that horizon. How remarkable...

There was another real cool work of genius but its too dark for any picture. Its basically a dark hazy room, with light projected from above, creating a "barrier" effect(ok, too much animes :D ahaha), like a cone. Ok thats all, full stop.

Another birthday, another day.

And so... We went to Mind's Cafe, the one at Prinsep Street. Very average food, just like food court 4's. I've got no pictures, but we had fun. Uno Stacko was good, but the forfeits were retarded, or rather uncool. Then we found this game:

Today was pretty well spent, although I skipped morning's class. I thought its inessential. 0800 to 1000 in large lecture hall with 5 classes, I'll probably end up dozing.

I missed those days when The Reason by Hoobastank was top hit on 98.7FM.
I missed those days when Long John Silver's combo 1 only cost S$3.15.

Tired from ball & rain

I ate this the other day. The nose burning and brain aching sensation from wasabi is totally awesome.

Balled in school today. Weather was chilling at first but it started to rain, with the sun still hanging high above. Then we witness this phenomenon.

If you look closely, you can actually see a layer of steam hovering above the ground.

I'm sure you can see it in this picture. Its so cool!

I guess it happened due to the radiating heat from the ground, evaporating the rain water continuously. Its real cool, although its just warm steam :D haha...

And the worst part,; I was already totally drained from all the balling and still had to stand throughout the journey home on the MRT. Really felt like my foots were gonna break! But, but, but... Its all good, cause I saw the infamous girl that everyone had been talking about, she is pretty cute indeed :D

New School Term!

If you've noticed, a countdown timer had been added on the right. I'm totally feeling the December holiday :D



Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new school term! And I've a primary school gathering as well! Gosh, the anxiety is killing me! Ahahaha!

Too chill...

Went to Chomp Chomp for the first time on Thursday. Food was alright; 4.5/5 for carrot cake, 4.5/5 for sugar cane drink, 3.5/5 for rojak and 3/5 for the disappointing hokkien mee. I've heard so much commendation for it, yet... ... 921's is obviously much tasty.

Next, we went for some ice cream at... Haato. Not bad, they do have some extraordinary favors and I had... ...

Then we went to this restroom with miniture... ... Fuck! I just realised I don't know the name after using it for more than 16 years! Its time I find out...

But its awfully low! Ahaha! Ok lah, its because this restroom belongs to a tution center so the facilities are catered to kids.

And Friday was a long day, went to check out the Diesel's 30th anniversary jeans that were only going for $78 but were sold out within minutes after the store opened. So we went for LAN at The Cathay but foosball proved to be more entertaining. Headed to Orchard, and watched The New Paper New Face Finals. Those girls are fineeeee :D hahaha! The last stop was beancurd at Sembawang Road & thats about it for the day.

2 more days to new school term, interesting...

Last week of holidays

This was what I did on Monday when FYP got awfully boring. Ahaha, emo.

Went to Golden Mile to look for a pouch and belt for FYP today, and we got these.

Pouch for $10 and belt for $6.

Although I'm only out from 2 to 5:30, I'm totally wore out by the traveling... And I'm fucking bored right now. The 3 games I just got: NBA 09 The Inside, NBA Live 09 and Valhalla Knights 2

are totally boring...

Single-hood? Why?

Went to Warped at FEP to check out the Visvim G-Line FBT that had just been consigned and it's freaking $600!!! Arghh... How I wished it was like $300, hahaha.

I'm actually looking for some classic black with white based shoe. And this pair seems cool. C'mon, its Nike, we all know they make good shoes :D haha! Nike FTW!
It'll be released tomorrow at LE Vault, Heeren. Hope the price is real afforable and all the kind sneaker pimps & hype-beasts will leave a pair of US8 for me :D ahaha!

SlamJam x Nike "Optical Force" Air Force 1

Sometimes when I see some muscular dudes with a pretty decent girl, I'll say to myself, "hmmm, having a robust body does help..." but the next moment, a bony dude comes by with a equally decent chic. And I'll be like, "hmm... Maybe bodybuild doesn't really matters".

Sometimes when I see some tall guy, say around 185cm, with a real hot babe, my mind will go like, "damn, I'll never get a girl this tall, with such nice slender legs this lifetime" but guess what? The next moment, a guy around 158cm walks by with a shorter but cuter girl and I'm like, "helllllllll... No..." So I thought height isn't really the case.

Sometimes when I see a real geeky dude, wearing some chucks and jeans with unrealistic washes, playing PSP, with a girlfriend, in my heart I think, "hmmm... Maybe girls these days go for the less outgoing and geeky type." But on the other end, there is a fashionable dude, rocking a pair of Tiffany SBs and Levis Fenom, with a girlfriend around his arms. And I thought, "... ... ..."

So in conclusion... I think there's nothing to be concluded cause I'm all by myself...

Happy Children's Day & Hari Raya

Today is Children's Day & Hari Raya! And I'm down with fever. I knew I got it when I was shivering and freezing this morning on the bed at around 7a.m. It felt like freezing to death in the North-Pole.
Heard that electricity bill will increase by 21%. Thats awefully lot! I guess it really pays to live in a safe and secure country like Singapore, hahaha.

My laptop is dying! Getting laggier each day despite disk clean up, defragmentation and virus scans...
& I'm so mad right now, cause I just bathed and is sweating again. I know, its good to sweat when you're down with fever but man... I just bathed! I'll be all sticky again! Arghhh...

May be going back for FYP tomorrow. Hope I'll be fine by then. But my lecturer didn't even inform us about the time... Weird.

Something's missing...

I hate it when I want to do something so badly but forever denying it with the slightest excuse. Like my bike license: been 8 months since I enrolled and still at practical 4, training for NAPFA : intended to start running on first day of holidays. Haven't been to even a single trip till now. Girls? Don't even have anything to talk about! Ahahaha!

2 more weeks to end of holidays & October is approaching. Wait... The 10th month of the year!? Well... I'd say time is like a shot, BANG & its all over. Hahaha...

My supper. Cool huh? Hahaha! I'm a fruitful person, my balls.

& I want a water cooler in this room, you know, the ones in primary school where I used to queue up to refill my water bottle. Anyway, I wanted it so I won't have to travel to the kitchen for a drink. Not like my kitchen is very far, aha...

I'd rather have bad times with you, than good times with someone else.

Its not about the quantity, cause every one of them tasted awfully fresh and yummy. Haha, we'll get more another time :D

Once in a while...

Getting lazy and lazier to blog. Don't even bother to take pictures no more, haha... Well, we have been frequenting E2max of Cine for LAN. Its really an awesome 'sport' to spend time on with homies, where we can fuck each other verbally.

I'm so addicted to this facebook application. Although its just some stupid clicking game, where you can click on a "Fish Now" every 15 minutes to fish, I'm still hooked on to it! Haha, its in me, it really is...
And I actually fell asleep on Friday while watching Disaster Movie. Its the first time in my life. Maybe the movie is way too crappy, or maybe I was tired... No, wait, the movie does sucks.

Caught a mini Elva Hsiao concert at The Max Pavilion on Saturday night. Kinda short, 4 songs with some talking. But nevertheless, she was hot enough to take my breath away in that short 1 & a half hours.

And Wan Jun, the most important lady in my life is leaving for Vietnam in less than 12 hours. Ok, I was overstating there :D maybe. Anyways, for 2 fucking months, I'll miss her more than words can say. Like for real.

When I tried to play with my PSP a little today, The mother fucking "L" button died on me! So I brought it to Far East Shopping Center and get it fixed. 20 bucks gone for nothing... Totally BS! Know what I'm saying? Then You Lun, kC, Zhao and I went to The Cathay for some LAN action!

In school for FYP yesterday and thats basically what its about, sit around! Will be going back on Thursday again, hope we can get something out.

She just loves to lay on newspaper whenever you're reading them... So I thought this is a pretty good way to start with, ahaha!

Been awhile y'all!

Back from another chalet. It was cool, just lack of crowd in our considerately huge Aloha Loyang unit. We swam, chilled, balled and had excessive chickens. Yeah, that's probably what we did.

Sent Qing Hui off to her 2 weeks mission in India yesterday. She's going there to aid people with visionary related issues. Kudos to her! Haha!
I finally received the letter asking me to retrieve my passport! But it's Lavender! Too far for the lazy me to head down...

& according to my FYP teammate, our project was selected to be presented to the CEO of Alexander Hospital. I wonder...

Most luxurious chalet

Just got back from the most luxurious chalet I've been to. It's at Paris Ris Road, one of the bungalows. No pictures of exterior though, totally forgot.

Not forgetting the cool KTV room! I'm surprised that noise suppression walls were installed. But not much of a use since the door and windows aren't special. Haha. Oh, not forgetting the awesome sound system.

I went to school on the second day for FYP and saw a Maserati on the way back.

When I got back, some fools appeared and started monster hunting.

I played for less than 20 minutes!

I was bored and took a picture of this huge snail I saw.

And guess who is that? Yes, kC the No.1 missing in action sleeper.

Well, there was only kC and I on the first night & I've got no idea how we made it through. Just watched MTV and chatted through the night and soon its 6a.m. haha. And Hiang Peng, Ser Chin and Zhao Yi appeared after I returned from FYP.

Felt like I haven't even enjoyed the holiday. Been doing FYP these few days... And the chalet next week, we somehow got 1 free day. And its 5 days 4 nights without internet?! Man, thats one hell of a challange.. Ahahaha! We'll see, We'll see...
